Indoor & Outdoor Activities To Help Reduce Stress in Gilbert, AZ-image

April is here and the year is in full swing. Some folks' jobs are entering the busy second quarter, school is back from break and in full session, yet summer vacation plans are also forming. Your Spring cleaning of the home has yet to happen, everyday life is getting busier, and the calendar year is starting to fill up fast. It may come as very little surprise then that April is National Stress Awareness Month. So while you skillfully play the balancing act of life, it’s always important to make sure to take time for yourself in order to keep up, keep sane, and keep going. So, here are a few activities you can do in your luxury Acero Val Vista apartment home, or within the greater Gilbert area, to assist you in relieving your stress this season.    Good food = Good mood. They say good food equals a good mood, so try switching up your snacks, meals, and overall diet when things are getting frantic. Easier said than done, however, an unhealthy diet can expedite and help to exaggerate stress within the body, so it’s important to make sure you find a way to eat right . Try checking out the Gilbert Farmers Market on any given Saturday from 8am to 12pm. Hosting over 100 vendors throughout the Spring and Summer seasons, it’s the perfect place to get fresh and local fruits, vegetables, and all kinds of delicious ingredients for more rounded and healthy meals through the week and month. Bonus: it’s an additional trip outdoors, which is another practice in helping to lessen stress.      Get Out(side):  While on the subject of heading outdoors, which has shown to reduce the negative effect of stress and pump up endorphins , spend a few minutes, a couple of hours, or even the day along the Arizona Canal Path - and discover parts of the city you may have never seen before! Take a stroll, a morning jog, or an afternoon bike ride down its paved (and unpaved at times) path that leads to a variety of commercial centers, residences, and other recreational opportunities. Whatever you choose, even 5 minutes a day can have active benefits!   Stress Sesh: As you may know, your Acero Val Vista apartment home is ideal for creating your own oasis away from the outside world, so try really taking advantage of that! Invite a friend or loved one over for that new healthy meal and talk about what may be worrying or aggravating you. Having a network you can rely on for support can greatly improve your mental health during stressful times . Or, if that feels uncomfortable, try simply writing out the stressful thoughts. Create a space (a whole room, just a corner, or even one seat) just for you at home and enjoy a journaling session right in the comfort of your own design - just remember to make it work for yourself.    Work, work, work it out:  Of the many ways to de-stress, physical activity is always brought up - and for good reason. Virtually any form of exercise can assist in reducing stress and luckily our Acero Val Vista community is equipped with an excellent fitness center that is open 24 hours a day! No need to worry about spending additional money when you are equipped with what you need right in our own community! However, if you’re looking for something even a little easier, there are multiple at-home workouts and exercises you can perform in your living room or bedroom!    When life starts to get busy is exactly the most important time to look after yourself - so as not to get even more overwhelmed. 5 Foolproof Spring Cleaning Tips, Tricks, and Spots You Should Not Miss-image

The year is zooming by and the first day of Spring (March 20th) is quickly approaching, which means the annual - and possibly the dreaded - Spring cleaning is upon us again. There are those who look forward to this time of year, framing it as a glorious season to purge every old and unused item. Then, there is the crowd who participates, but not very seriously. Finally, there are the folks who would rather do anything else - because who has the time or energy. Yet, this yearly occasion does not need to be an awful or time consuming experience. In fact, it can be just the thing you need! With multiple benefits ranging from a day or so of physical activity, mood and focus improvements, as well as helping to protect your immune system! So, to keep up your luxury Acero Val Vista apartment, here are 5 foolproof Spring cleaning tips, tricks, and uncommon places you might miss!   Tip 1: Schedule it Out!   Creating a schedule can help take away the stress and anxiety of the undertaking of deep cleaning your whole space in one weekend - let alone one day if you’re short on time! Try splitting up your rooms by days or weekends and creating a task list of all the uncommon areas to clean. Do you have a regular cleaning routine? If so, what are the areas that are generally ignored? Start with those and give yourself the gift of a scheduled plan so that nothing gets missed!   Tip 2: The Perfect Cleaning Kit      Having the correct supplies can make the entire Spring cleaning event easy and less stressful. Everyone’s kit may be a little different, depending on the needs of their space, but having one ready to go before starting will keep you on track. Don’t know where to even begin? A basic starting kit can be: an all-purpose cleaner , a sponge (specifically for household cleaning - don’t grab the dish sponge!), disinfectant wipes , a glass cleaner (for windows and showers), a small duster, and extra cloths. Once you’ve gathered everything, put them in a bucket or basket to keep yourself organized and so it’s easy to keep everything with you as you go about the day! Tip 3: From the Windows to the Walls       Be honest, when was the last time you wiped down your walls? You may remember to clean the floors and carpets, but your walls can use some love too. Dust does not only settle on the floor and can start to build up over time without you even noticing its impact. Try taking one of your extra cloths to wipe down your walls and windows (going from top to bottom). And, when your attention is on the windows, don’t forget to wash the entire window seal, while both opened and closed. This way, when you open it later for that fresh Spring breeze, you won’t be bombarded with dust and grime from last season!  Tip 4: Get a Handle on It      Your hands can come in contact with quite a bit throughout the day, which we have learned can spread around all kinds of little germs. While you might know to wash your hands regularly, taking the time to grab a few of those disinfectant wipes and going to wipe-town is a great practice to put in place. Be sure to wipe down every single door handle (outside & in), sink handles, TV and electronic remotes, light switches, thermometers, cupboard door handles, and every other household item you may find yourself grabbing regularly.  Tip 5: Freshen' Up!  So you’ve made your schedule, de-cluttered, disinfected, vacuumed, swept, and wiped-down single nook and cranny - now it’s time to relax and enjoy your sparkling clean space! Reward yourself and your home by bringing in some greenery with a new plant or two for a fresh breath of life or switch out those throw-pillow covers for some new vibes for the upcoming season. Either way, once you have completed your Spring cleaning, be sure to do what you need to for that finishing touch.  The yearly Spring clean can be a daunting task, especially if it has been a while. But with these few tips, you’re sure to make it a successful venture! Are you ready for Spring cleaning? Have any additional helpful tips? Leave a comment below to let us know and we’ll see you back here next month for another blog post!
